Biography & Metadata
The Atomic Café was founded in 2012 by Daniel Poza Zamarrón (composition, keyboards, vocals) and Gabriela Castro Peccis (vocals). In 2014, they released their first EP, Rebelión en Krypton, blending pop-rock and house influences with rich synthesizer layers. After performing at various venues and events, including the Mutua Madrid Open (2018), with a lineup completed by Miguel Martís (guitars), Jorge Amezcua (guitars), Pablo Suarez (bass), and Adrián Kirpal (drums), the band was reinforced in 2019 by Alejandro Morell (bass), Daniel del Val (drums), and Alfonso Samos (guitar), with whom they produced the album qWErTy, released in March 2020. Following a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, The Atomic Café resumed recording and performing in 2022, including appearances at the Madrid Half Marathon and Sala Clamores. In May 2023, they released Coffee Time, produced by Alfonso Samos Luna, who also played guitar throughout the album. Daniel del Val and Alejandro Morell performed on all tracks, except the cover of Eric Prydz’s Opus, featuring Whospalo and Manuel Tena alongside Daniel Poza and Alfonso Samos. In 2024, the band released Metamorfosis, a collaboration with Alfonso Samos. In 2026, The Atomic Café returned with a new series of singles featuring Nacho Ruiz, Alejandro Morell, and Daniel del Val, beginning with The Key of Life, featuring lead vocals by Daniel Poza
