Marince Omario

Marince Omario is an Accra-based rapper and singer forging his own lane in Ghanaian music — a sound he calls FU (fusion), blending trap, hiplife, and R&B with the rhythms of his Ga heritage. Rapping largely in Ga, he turns the language's texture into clever wordplay and double entendre, a signature few of his peers attempt. Since his debut tape Oblitey — a young hustler's diary of city life in Accra — he's built a catalog defined by intimacy and craft, from the Tsotsoo EP (a tribute to his late grandmother) to the Ju Leebi mixtape, released on Ghana's Independence month as a symbol of personal evolution. He's collaborated with artists including Black Sherif, Ko-Jo Cue, Pure Akan and Kojo Trilla. Beyond the studio, Marince founded Gbonyo Party, Accra's annual concert experience, and is an alum of the OneBeat Ghana Fellowship (2023).
