marado, is just a average nigga based in Los Angeles but he got his ass beat mainly in upstate New York as a youngster then after getting his heartbroken by women from Queens to California. Growing up in Poughkeepsie, NY, he’d get jiggy with rock and pop music before later moving to Brooklyn and falling in love with rhythm and blues(cuz that nigga was sad and shit) He defines his own music as a kind of alternative soul. marado describes his purpose in life as leaving things better than he found them. This philosophy extends to his music as he continues striving to make his mark on the industry and help those going through similar things feel seen through his music. As the importance of music evolves in his life, marado looks back on a moment where as a teen, he listened to Frank Ocean & Rex Orange County, he thought to himself, “I wish I could do that. Put myself out there like that(this was code for sing, get money, and get b[itches]eautiful young ladies)”.
