Biography & Metadata
Kabir Sharma, aka KKS, is a 24-year-old Hindi rapper. He grew up in Gurgaon but moved to Doha with his family when he was in class 6. In class 9, he started creating his rap persona by writing lyrics in Hindi and calling himself King Kabir Sharma; giving birth to his stage name KKS. He was apprehensive putting up a rap song in Hindi while living abroad but finally did so in class 10, and then decided that he wanted to pursue performing arts as a career. He moved to Pune to pursue an undergraduate programme and has also been part of the city’s hip-hop and theatre scenes.
