R Baron

Born out of the creative agency and management powerhouse R Baron Group, the R Baron artist identity carries the DNA of one of West Coast hip-hop’s most influential forces. Co-founded by music executives TK Kimbro and Picaso, R Baron Group became the architects behind some of LA’s most defining voices — from Drakeo the Ruler and 03 Greedo to Shoreline Mafia, MoneySign Suede, and AZChike — shaping a new era of West Coast sound that spread globally. The name itself pays homage to the original Robber Barons — the relentless industrialists who built empires from nothing — reimagined for the culture. Take from the Takers! With over 15 years in the entertainment industry spanning A&R, brand strategy, radio promotion, and label development — including the Atlantic Records-backed label The Machine Works — R Baron brings an executive’s vision and a street-level pulse to everything in the catalog. This is the sound of general who have been behind the scenes breaking artists and are now stepping into the light. Unapologetic. Calculated. Built different.
