SHIGGA SHAY

SHIGGA SHAY is widely acknowledged as one of the prominent figures in Singapore's music industry, celebrated for a body of work that blends cultural identity with introspective storytelling. Derived from the phrase "是个谁" in "你是个 谁," his name carries the evocative meaning of "who is it" or "who are you.” Throughout his career, SHIGGA SHAY has achieved notable accomplishments, including multiple #1 singles on the iTunes Singapore Charts and an invitation to perform at the White House Afterparty for the State Dinner in Washington DC. In 2023, SHIGGA SHAY was the first Singaporean artist to feature on the prestigious COLORSxSTUDIOS YouTube channel. That same year, he became the first Southeast Asian and Singaporean special guest on "Rap of China," one of China's top variety shows. He also directed the music video for the National Day Parade theme song "Shine Your Light," which he co-wrote with Don Richmond. In 2024, SHIGGA SHAY became the first Southeast Asian and Singaporean to appear as a contestant on "Rap of China". That same year, he performed at Rolling Loud Thailand, one of the largest hip-hop festivals in the world, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the genre. In 2025, SHIGGA SHAY performed at the inaugural One Love Music Festival in Chengdu, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in Mandarin music.
