Rick Planting

Rick Planting is an artist & producer from The Netherlands. From an early age, Rick was captivated by music. His journey started by learning a variety of instruments, each contributing to his growing passion for creating and performing songs. This led to him eventually pursuing a career as a songwriter and music producer. Influenced by the emotive sounds of Alexander 23, the anthemic melodies of Coldplay, as well as the distinct writing styles of Sam Fender and Jeremy Zucker, Rick aims to craft music that resonates deeply with his listeners. Despite his passion for music, Rick initially pursued a different path, earning a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology. After graduating he decided to refine his skills by studying Songwriting and Production at the ArtEZ Conservatory. Rick's first single, "Magic" released in 2024, marks the beginning of his professional journey.
