XO

XO are the essential new UK girlband. A force-of-nature five-piece, Emmy, Reanna, Shali, Summer and Zoe evoke the classic lineage of their heroes, but with a contemporary, cutting-edge and completely inclusive twist: think the unstoppable British energy of Spice Girls, as raised on the global pop-girls (Tate McRae) and the new wave of all-choreo and all-conquering groups like Katseye. XO’s debut EP ‘Fashionably Late’ includes singles, ‘Lovesick’, which is a mission-statement banger about catching feelings on a big night out, Charli xcx co-written second single ’Real Friends’ also nods to the band’s wider ethos of friendship, sisterhood, and a thoroughly Gen Z vision of Girl Power. Hailing from Essex, London, Liverpool, Derbyshire and Hong Kong, XO only formed in autumn 2024 but are quickly amassing an ardent fanbase; with early support from BBC Radio 1, and sold out headline tour already under their belt. In the girls’ own words, “we’re XO, and we’re probably the most chaotic girlband you’ve ever met in your life.”
