Biography & Metadata

NYC based alternative band The Villains was founded in 2021 by members NXCRE, the lead singer and dynamic frontman of the band, Jay Sambuco, the heavy rifting, power solo guitarist, and Lloyalty, the hard hitting, beating heart and soul of the band. NXCRE led a successful uprising solo career since 2018, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft. It was thanks to his adaptability and a lucky draw of the hand by his close friend Terrencioo that he would eventually find himself at a local Manhattan studio by the name of “Sinalife Studios“ a studio he would later come and find out Lloyalty was employed at. It was during this encounter where NXCRE and Lloyalty would become friends and NXCRE would go about mentioning his desires of forming a band, coming to find out that Lloyalty has been a drummer since an early age. Lloyalty would come to say a line that has stuck true to the bands mentality since it’s formation; “ All we have to do is get in the room together “ (in regards to a rehearsal room, studio, and eventually the stage) And what transpired was nothing short of magical. NXCRE would arrive early to their scheduled rehearsal where he would eventually meet Jay Sambuco for the first time and ask him if he would be willing to rehearse with the young singer and drummer, to which Jay agreed and the rest was history.
