Absolute Treat

Absolute Treat is the Toronto-based pop project of vocalist and songwriter Natalie Panacci. Originally formed under the name Dilettante, the project has evolved from its hazier, lo-fi beginnings into a sleek, dance-driven sound built around synths, guitars, live instrumentation, lush harmonies, and hook-heavy songwriting. Panacci is joined by permanent members Jemuel Roberts on keys and Rafael Callejas on guitar. In 2022, Absolute Treat released their debut album, Dilettante, which UK publication Backseat Mafia described as having “indelible melodies and mountain high anthems.” The record helped establish the project’s range and led to inclusion in Exclaim! Magazine’s “Class of 2023,” opening slots for artists including Born Ruffians and The Darcys, and performances at festivals such as Toronto Pride and River & Sky. Following the transition to the Absolute Treat name and the 2025 re-release of Dilettante through Victory Pool, the band returned with the Shattered Love EP, sharpening their sound into something bigger, tighter, and more immediate. Across the record, disco, rock, synth-pop, and funk collide with live guitars, horns, layered vocals, and a rhythm section built to move. Absolute Treat has since continued to build momentum at home and internationally, reaching a new audience through music featured in Heated Rivalry and being selected to showcase at Reeperbahn Festival 2026 in Hamburg, Germany.
