Hailing from Los Angeles, Tacet is a Nicaraguan / American RIAA Gold Certified producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose sound exists somewhere between underground rap, phonk, metal, and post punk. At 18, Tacet produced “Grey Gods” by Ramirez featuring $uicideboy$, a record that became one of the defining releases of the underground and earned RIAA Gold certification. Since then, his production has reached across the underground, with credits and collaborations involving Ramirez, $uicideboy$, Denzel Curry, Sick Jacken, Schemaposse, Raider Klan, and more. As an artist, Tacet has built his own world through Third World Posse, releasing a constantly expanding catalog that refuses to stay inside one genre. From guitar-heavy production and distorted bass to melodic records and aggressive underground anthems, Tacet treats every release as another piece of the same universe. His catalog includes Speak No Evil, No Forgiveness, EL CADEJO, See No Evil, his side project post punk band “Phantom Indigo” and numerous singles and collaborative projects.
