Erik Nordblad

Hi! My name is Erik Nordblad and i'm a singer songwriter from Sweden. At first, music was a way for me to reflect and sort things out, for myself. I now realize that I can actually influence and help other people, and for me, that feels important. That's what motivates me and what keeps me making new music. - So, if i've made your day just a few percentage better, let me know. - Erik's music is a mix of Indie/Folk and cinematic soundscapes, wrapped up in a nordic melancholy forest package. 
 Hold My Love is Erik's latest release and it is fully funded by his fans. "For you who have backed my song- Thank you so much for supporting me and my music!" The song was added to New Music Friday Sweden. 
 Cold Water is about trying to find one’s way out of a depression, with the help from a loved one. "I wrote ‘Cold Water’ during a period when I felt really down. But at the same time as I was drowning in the cold water, my girlfriend was dancing in the cold rain. She could see the light when I couldn’t, and somehow she managed to pull me up to the surface again.” 
 Lost is featured in the Swedish tv-show ”Älska mig” by Josephine Bornebusch. 
 
Calling Out is a song for everyone who has ever felt powerless of something they do everything to not lose. When you think back to the golden memories and wish you could stay in the fine moments, just for a little while.
