The words ‘culture’ and ‘heritage’ get thrown around a lot these days, and sometimes not all that accurately. In Cadell’s case, he is heritage personified. Cadell has been a fixture of the British music scene for over a decade, coming into the space at sixteen, dropping nine projects, with a tenth on the way, and amassing millions of streams across all platforms. some of his most notable work has been his freestyles. In an age where the art of freestyling is fading, Cadell is holding it down. His #gimmegrime set is an all-timer, as well as his recent sounds of the verse appearance. His battles with the likes of Novelist and Stormzy have gone down in Grime history. While Cadell is a staple of the Grime scene and its history, it's what he's got coming next that really excites me. Cadell has been active amongst the new wave of artists coming up, showing love to and working closely with them. This wave of momentum he’s currently riding looks set to reach its apex. With the release of Watch & Learn 3, his tenth project, which is stacked full of producer credits and features from some of the biggest names in the scene. Lancey Foux, Jme, Maverick Sabre, Fimiguerrero, TeeboFG, I could go on.. With past collaborations from the likes of Giggs, Safone , Zomby, Maniac , Tre Mission , Merky ACE, Suspect OTB, amongst many other top-tier names already under his belt, Cadell has music for listeners of all kinds.
