Josh Major

Joshua Kudzaishe Murwira professionally known as Josh Major is a Zimbabwean Afro House Music Producer and DJ. His passion for music started at an early age. Growing up in Bulawayo, which is popularly believed to be the center of Zimbabwe's House music scene, Josh's love for house music developed. He spent most of his time there DJing, making use of a family computer, and cites Black Coffee, DJ Kent, Euphonik, Heavy K, and a handful of popular local DJs as strong influences to his music and helped cement Josh's passion for House music. They also inspired him to pursue his musical ambitions and by the time he turned sixteen, he commenced music production professionally. Josh is self-taught and uses his melodic creativity and intensive percussion structuring to create his very unique take on Afro House.
