Melbourne powerhouse Mia Wray has emerged as one of Australia’s most commanding new voices; powerful, soulful and heartbreakingly direct. In 2025, her debut album hi, it's nice to meet me won the hearts of fans globally, earning her an ARIA nomination for the Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist award and shortlisted for last year’s prestigious Australian Music Prize (AMP). The album introduced a songwriter unafraid to bare her soul, packed with anthems like Not Enough and What If , which drew praise from triple j, BBC Radio 1, Nova and Hit networks, and the one and only Elton John. Mia Wray has sold out numerous headline shows across the world, and has opened for superstars Maisie Peters, Vance Joy, DMA'S, Spacey Jane and most recently supported Ed Sheeran on his Loop AU / NZ stadium tour. Mia’s live performances are a celebration of love and queer identity, a joyous and raucous experience that feels like a true coming of age. With streaming numbers climbing past 50 million, Mia Wray’s confessional pop is equal parts catharsis and celebration, the sound of someone claiming her space, loud and clear.
