Edify

Edify is a music artist and producer originally from Plymouth Michigan who currently resides in Grand Rapids. His early influences include artists like Eminem, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. When he was 19 he started writing music for the first time. It began when a friend asked him to record a song in his basement on the West side of Detroit for a radio station intro. After making a few songs Edify decided to perform at open mic's around the city and eventually was booked for shows locally entering into the Christian Hip Hop genre. Since then Edify has landed placements on SiriusXM and nationally syndicated radio. He's also had his music played around the NBA by the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks. Recently gaining a promotional placement with NBA 2k for their 2024 release featuring first overall pick Victor Wembanyama of the Spurs. Edify has showcased his crossover ability as a Christian artist in Hip Hop opening for the Ying Yang Twins, Lecrae, and Andy Mineo. He's toured nationally twice and has released four albums over the course of his career with three currently available on streaming platforms. The music is inspired by real life events and experiences that is created to help listeners gain perspective in their own life.
