The Grammy-winning Gipsy Kings, led by founder Tonino Baliardo, reshaped global music with their 1987 debut, bringing flamenco-driven, non-English songs to international charts. Mixing flamenco with Latin, pop, reggae and jazz, they released landmark albums like Mosaïque and Este Mundo, sold over 25 million records, earned 2 billion streams, and appeared on major soundtracks including Toy Story 3 and The Big Lebowski. Nearly four decades on, their flame still burns. Tonino’s new album Historia, out now, introduced by the vibrant single “Señorita,” inspired by childhood memories of music and family. The record spans energetic tracks like “El Campo” and “Big Bang,” the dramatic title track, and the moving “La Guerra,” with Tonino’s guitar at its core. Gipsy Kings featuring Tonino Baliardo will end 2025 with a New Year’s Eve show in Sharm El-Sheikh, then launch a 2026 North American tour and premiere their documentary at Cannes before a global Amazon Prime release.
