Biography & Metadata
Intentionality defines Georgia Owen’s songwriting, rooted in the belief that growing up is not about ease but about choosing better. She pairs sharp, unfiltered storytelling with irresistible hooks, crafting choruses that hit where it hurts and heal. A Jersey girl at heart, she brings personality, humor, passion, and unapologetic attitude to modern pop. Raised in Allentown, New Jersey, she grew up immersed in the Asbury Park music scene, performing up and down the East Coast on stages like The Stone Pony, The Cutting Room, and House of Independence. Along the way, she built a reputation for magnetic live shows and lyrics that speak straight to the heart. Her songs have appeared in Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga and the documentary Just Before the Dawn alongside Bruce Springsteen. Since relocating to Nashville, she has released standout singles including “09 Honda,” “Imaginationship,” “Fur Coat,” co-written with Gabe Simon for Noah Kahan’s critically acclaimed album Stick Season, and “Happy Hour,” which earned Best Song in the 2023 Nashville Briefing Songwriting Contest. She has also headlined a 35-plus date national tour, bringing her honest, energetic performances to audiences across the country. Now preparing for the next leg of her 09 Honda Tour and the release of her debut album, Georgia Owen is creating music that feels both timeless and modern — songs about growing up, messing up, falling hard, and choosing better anyway.
