Bigstat began composing rhymes at the tender age of 12 after his mother was murdered. He turned to a life of music after this horrible tragedy, realizing this was the outlet he needed to express his grief and inspire others with his story. “Pain (feat. Jordan Meyer)" is the heartbreaking single that addresses his mother’s murder and will hopefully shed some additional light on the horror of domestic violence. Bigstat gained national attention when he appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon ” and freestyled with The Roots. He has performed with some of the biggest names in hip hop including Wiz Khalifa, Drake and KRS-One as well as toured with Sheek Louch of The LOX, Slaughterhouse, Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Redman. “Press Rewind” is the first single off the album and features @ Ghostface Killah produced by Sicktunes, this track will sure to bring you back to the days of 90’s hip hop. Stat teamed up with his original producers Ralphie O, G-whiz, and Young Cee to release his 2019 album Square One.
