Biography & Metadata

Robbie Mortimer is a country-rock artist from Orange, NSW, known for high-energy live shows, big-hearted songs and a sound that blends contemporary country with rock and an unmistakable Australian edge. A 2027 Tamworth Country Music Festival ambassador, 2023 Toyota Star Maker Grand Finalist and 2025 CountryTown Breakthrough Artist nominee, Robbie has built a rapidly growing audience through independent releases, national touring and more than 7.5 million career streams. His 2026 EP Notes From A Very Loud Mind brought together anthemic country-rock and honest, feel-good storytelling, with Might Be The Night reaching #1 on TMFM and #9 on the CountryTown Music Network chart. Robbie has performed at some of Australia’s biggest country music events including CMC Rocks, Gympie Music Muster, Groundwater and Savannah in the Round, while also sharing stages with acts including The Beach Boys and The Temptations. In 2026, he performed the national anthem at State of Origin Game I at Accor Stadium and made his Nashville debut at the iconic Bluebird Café. At the heart of Robbie’s music are songs for people still having a crack. Rooted in regional NSW, he sings for the underdog, the people backing themselves, getting back up and finding something good even on the hard days. It’s country music built around optimism, connection and the belief that the best might still be ahead.
