DJ JON-JOHN

Johnny Segura, better known as DJ JON-JOHN, was born and raised in Southern California, USA. Born in March 1972, his musical journey began with the rich sounds found in his father's record collection, featuring Afro-Cuban, salsa, cumbia, chicha, huayno, and polka artists. As his passion for music grew during his teenage years, Johnny began DJing at the age of 15 and has never looked back. Decades later, his dedication to music remains stronger than ever, with countless hours spent behind the decks and in the studio creating new sounds. Today, DJ JON-JOHN produces and remixes a diverse range of electronic music, including dance, deep house, progressive house, ambient, and cinematic compositions. His unique sound is shaped by an eclectic mix of influences that span genres and generations, including Roots Reggae, Depeche Mode, Jazz, Rock, Kraftwerk, Ska, House Music, and Classical music. Drawing from both his multicultural heritage and lifelong musical experiences, DJ JON-JOHN continues to create music that blends rhythm, emotion, and atmosphere, connecting with listeners around the world through his distinctive productions and remixes.
