Screaming Lord Byron

Screaming Lord Byron is a vibrant force in Brooklyn’s music scene, crafting electrifying Rock 'n' Roll that channels the spirit of legends like Bowie, The Beatles, Prince, Pixies, and Dylan. With a career rooted in rebellion and innovation, he blends classic influences with a modern twist for a sound that's both nostalgic and fresh. In the '90s, Byron emerged from New York's punk scene as the lead guitarist for Scud Got Quayle, known for its raw energy. He then pushed musical boundaries with the avant-garde Phlougheez before fronting the Britpop-inspired trio, The Queue. This period sharpened his signature style—catchy hooks and intricate guitar work—that drew fans across the UK and US. Byron has collaborated with a range of artists, including Chainsaw Curtis, drummer Joe Scinto, multi-talented Arjun Kaji, and world-class clarinetist Aziz Veliev, exploring new sonic territories along the way. When he's not performing, Byron teaches at a NYC public school, using art and music to inspire and empower youth. Whether writing, producing, or performing, his dynamic sound and passionate performances make him a vital presence in both the local and global rock scenes.
