Biography & Metadata

Fabian Müller has established himself in recent seasons as one of the most remarkable pianists of his generation. He attracted considerable attention in 2017 at the International ARD Music Com­petition in Munich, where he won not one but five prizes, including the Audience Prize. As early as 2013 Fabian Müller was causing a stiramong music connoisseurs, when he carried off the International Press Prize, a Special Prize for the best interpretation of a work by Ferruccio Busoni and the Special Prize for the Interpretation of Contemporary Piano Music at the International Ferruccio Busoni Piano Competition in Bolzano. Since then, his concert career has been developing at a high international level: in spring 2018 he gave his debut in New York’s Carnegie Hall, followed in autumn 2018 by his acclaimed debut recital at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.  He regularly makes guest appearances at festivals such as the Ruhr Piano Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Heidelberg Spring Festival, the Schwetzingen SWR Festival, the Mecklenburg­ Western Pomerania Festival and the Aldeburgh Festival and at venues such as the Konzerthaus in Berlin, the Herkulessaal in Munich, the Philharmonie in Cologne, the Düsseldorf Tonhalle, Bremen’s concert hall Die Glocke and the Beethovenhaus in Bonn.<br>
