Biography & Metadata

From the moment she held her first red microphone at age five, Barbara Nadas knew she had found her voice. What began with drums in a teen band and a breakout role in Fame at the Hungarian Operetta Theatre soon grew into a decade of performing in a cover band and ultimately, a calling to write her own songs. Deeply inspired by Amy Winehouse, Barbara began transforming personal challenges into music that explores strength, truth, and emotional evolution. Her early demos caught the attention of Hungarian producer Krisztián Burai, leading to a feature that earned over 1.5 million views on YouTube. After studying at Berklee’s 5-Week Summer Program, Barbara began writing and recording in English, collaborating with Grammy-winning engineer Marc Urselli and Smithmusix for her 2022 debut. In 2024, she released Soar, co-written with Aaron Kamin (The Calling), followed by Stay, a sultry album exploring grief, desire, and honesty. In 2025 Barbara performed her environmental anthem Lawyer of the Earth in New York’s Times Square for Earth Day’s 55th anniversary alongside global climate leaders. With recently released Túl Gangsta and the upcoming Mexico, Barbara continues to evolve her cinematic pop sound, diving into stories of wild nights, reckless romance, and the freedom of letting go.
