Prophete

Prophete is Daniel Denis Prophete, a Haitian-American artist, guitarist, and producer. The guitar is at the heart of his music, with every record written and produced from the ground up in his own studio. He first picked up the guitar at eighteen. It quickly became the foundation of his sound, eventually leading him to study music business and performance at UMass Lowell and music production at Berklee. His sound is guitar-driven Afro-Caribbean and Latin fusion—music that seduces, unites, and moves you. When the truth calls for it, he switches to Kreyòl. Warm where much of the genre is cool, his records are built to sound like somewhere sunny, even when your somewhere isn’t.
