Badge is the musical project of Anthony Mastran. After decades of playing, writing, and listening to music, Anthony realized he wanted to hear something he couldn’t find anywhere else. So he decided to create it. What began as an experiment blending hard rock grit with bluegrass instrumentation has grown into something much broader. Today, Badge explores rock, Americana, country, bluegrass, and acoustic storytelling—always guided by the song rather than the genre. From the hard-driving energy of Wastin’ Time & Gettin’ Paid to the reflective landscapes of Stories from the Blue Ridge, every release follows a simple philosophy: write honest songs, let the music serve the story, and never be afraid to take a different road. Originally, none of this was intended for release. It was simply a personal creative outlet—a chance to make the music Anthony wanted to hear, free from expectations or commercial goals. But as the catalog grew, so did the desire to share it. Badge isn’t about chasing trends or fitting neatly into a category.
