Deep within the depths of an East Ham basement studio is where the 20-year history of Freaquen.C begins. DJ Vadim first heard Graziella’s jazzy, raspy tones when she performed with the critically acclaimed Foreign Beggars at the Roundhouse, Camden, in 2005. Captivated, he invited her down to his East Ham abode to jam. Their shared love for hip hop, soul, and dub blossomed into several tracks for the Vadim vs Fat Freddy's Drop LP - Flashback (The Electric Drop) , paving the way for Graziella to join Vadim on his worldwide tour as a session vocalist for The Electric album in 2011, blending their talents seamlessly. Their journey forward led them back to Vadim’s East Ham basement studio, where the trio created their first sonic masterpiece on Dub Catcher in 2016. Shine your light. Over the next seven years, each member pursued individual projects, honing their craft through TV shows, tours, and live music events. Laville released The Wanderer on Acid Jazz, Graziella launched the Earth Jam live music platform at Earth, Hackney, and DJ Vadim continued to tour globally, releasing a constant stream of dub-infused rhythms.
