Joey Dosik

Even before releasing his first hit "Game Winner EP", fans have followed Joey Dosik's journey from member of the cultish bedroom funk band Vulfpeck through to his two full-length albums, "Inside Voice" and "The Nostalgiac". Some of Vulfpeck’s most classic songs, such as, “Running Away” and “LAX” were written by and feature Dosik. A community of musicians that branch out from the Vulf universe has birthed many fruitful collaborations inside Dosik’s own solo records. Joey has honed his craft as part of a burgeoning Los Angeles scene that reinvents past forms of popular music to exist in the present tense. While there’s undeniable Soul and Pop influence from such luminaries as Carole King, James Taylor, Marvin Gaye, and Harry Nilsson, his music is also inspired by modern beat makers and classic hip hop producers. Usually recording onto tape and using classic microphones, he’s also not afraid to use found sounds from his childhood VHS’s and voicemails to inspire raw, life-like moments on a record. Often writing about love, family, sports, and the metaphysical, Joey composes songs that give permission to feel and express emotion. Dosik’s music is inspirational, at times comedic, and has touched audiences on every continent. In 2026, he will bring his music live for fans in Europe, the US and Japan at venues such as the O2 Arena in London and Accor Arena in Paris. He is currently living in his hometown of Los Angeles, CA, working on his third full-length album.
