shef's kiss is an alternative-rock artist based between Brooklyn, NY, and Bengaluru, India. Known for her “big stadium energy,” (Circle of Love Records, 2024), shef creates a soundscape made of powerful, honeyed vocals, soaring guitar riffs, thick basslines, and huge drums. shef comes alive on stage; alongside her six-piece band, she’s played shows across India (Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Goa) and the US East Coast (New York City, New Haven). Bruce Springsteen, Sam Fender, Paramore, Nothing But Thieves, Green Day, Wunderhorse, U2, and The Black Keys… shef has always been inspired by those with powerful voices — those who have something to say. She inherited her love of rock music from her father, who fell in love with Queen and Bruce Springsteen growing up in Bengaluru. The roots here run deep: one of his core memories is the 1985 Live Aid Concert (taped and rewatched on the only neighborhood television), and one of shef’s core memories is hearing about it. shef grew up learning classical and jazz piano and drums, honing her lyricism by writing nonstop. shef's upcoming debut EP (entertainer, 2027), produced by singer-songwriter, guitarist, and longtime collaborator Varun Jhunjhunwalla and engineered by pixlpxl®, promises to be a powerful record — raw, real, electric.
