Biography & Metadata
Juan Cosby is an American producer and multi-instrumentalist who combines elements of boom bap and synthwave to create his own psychedelic ambrosia. A member of Cincinnati-based Counterfeit Money Machine, Juan released his first solo album Inhospitable Planet in 2017, which was described as "a dazzling exploration of progressive hip-hop" (Mike Breen, CityBeat). In 2019, Juan released his sophomore album Immortal Jellyfish, in which his “beat wizardry” (Diego Flores, Ghettoblaster Magazine) earned him the title of “soundscaping genius” (Mike Breen, CityBeat).
