Biography & Metadata
Christian Forshaw is a British composer and saxophonist creating music at the meeting point of classical, sacred, folk and ambient traditions. Released on Decca Classics, his latest album Lindisfarne: Beyond the Causeway features soprano Grace Davidson and draws inspiration from the ancient Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Alongside eight solo albums, Christian has collaborated with artists including Brian Eno, VOCES8, Tenebrae & the BBC Singers. His music combines lyrical saxophone, voice and atmospheric textures to create immersive, contemplative soundscapes inspired by history, landscape and the human voice.
