NegoO, The future of batida Originally from Monte Abraão, a neighborhood in Lisbon, NegoO developed a passion for music at a young age. Fascinated by percussion of all types and surrounded by other promising young producers, he began producing his first songs at the age of 17. He joins the ranks of Batida producers with his Atalaku style of singing in Portuguese and Lingala, subsequently sharing his tracks on Soundcloud and networks. Over time, he enriched his skills and his repertoire and then traveled to Paris, a city which had a significant influence on his music. Meeting many producers and DJs from the cosmopolitan capital deeply inspired him, de facto reinforcing his desire to pursue a career in the musical field. Subsequently, NegoO joined the Jet Life Paris collective, a group of multidisciplinary artists creating underground events and musical content. Through this association, he had the opportunity to perform on various stages, including MUTEK & Boileroom Montreal, as well as with MOONSHINE where he took his first steps into the world of DJing with multiple appearances at their events in Belgium, Paris, and Lisbon, as well as on the compilation SMS For Location Vol.5 where he stood out as a producer and performer of the track "Na cabeça" and his track "Pilha'' from the project Fédération Internationale du Bruit.
