Biography & Metadata

Hailing from Los Angeles, XIZHON is an artist driven by emotion, culture, and purpose. Though his love for music began at a young age, it wasn’t until 2021 that he started creating music in his college dorm room, transforming passion into craft. Rooted in his Jamaican and Belizean heritage, XIZHON grew up surrounded by old Jamaican tunes that shaped his ear and continue to influence his sound. At the heart of his artistry is his mother, to whom he dedicates his entire craft. After she was diagnosed with the rare disease amyloidosis, her unwavering support and deep love for the arts became a powerful source of motivation. Her belief in his music helped bring his creative voice to life and remains a driving force behind everything he creates. XIZHON’s music represents truth, raw expression, and a deep love for the art form. He gained global traction on SoundCloud, trending worldwide with records like “Givenchy,” “Fast Money,” and “Out the Bando.” His drill releases, including “What You Finna Do,” which samples J Balvin, reached number one worldwide on SoundCloud’s Hip-Hop/Rap charts. His EP, “No Promises, Only Memories,” serves as a dark, mysterious traverse into the lifestyle he’s lived, blending honesty and atmosphere into a deeply personal body of work. With each release, XIZHON continues to carve out a sound rooted in authenticity.
