With deep Cuban and Salvadoran roots, Ana Villafañe is a powerhouse performer who first gained national attention in the US as a ‘supernova’ on Broadway. Her distinct flavor of authenticity is matched by a raw fluidity to connect with an audience. Her Broadway debut originating the role of Gloria Estefan in “On Your Feet” made her an overnight sensation in the industry, and she has starred on iconic stages from Lincoln Center to the Kennedy Center earning critical acclaim as an actress ever since. Known for signature vocals and magnetic stage presence, live performances include appearances on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, The Tony Awards, Good Morning America, The View, and opening The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
