Rol3ert (pronounced Robert) is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter and producer born in the United States and raised in Japan. Writing mainly in English while carrying the melodic sensitivity of his Japanese upbringing, he creates music that moves naturally between cultures, languages, and emotions. Since debuting in January 2025, Rol3ert has quickly emerged as one of Japan’s most exciting new global-facing artists. His viral Instagram covers surpassed 4 million views before his first original release, while singles such as “savior” and “(how could i be) honest?” have reached Spotify editorial playlists across 20+ countries, including New Music Friday in 22 markets. He was selected as a Spotify RADAR 2026 artist, featured on a Times Square billboard in New York, and named Best Breakthrough Artist at the Tokyo Alter Music Award 2025. His debut EP Kodoku, released June 24, 2026, captures a darker and more intimate side of Rol3ert, translating the idea of “solitude” into five songs that move between full production and stripped-back piano arrangements.
