TEMPURA

TEMPURA was founded in April 2019 - when there were no other artist using the name - as a collective project producing a wide range of music genres, including experimental, electronica, soundscapes, film scores, R&B, rock, EDM, chansons, chill, jazz , world music and classical pieces. Techniques include mixing live recordings with original samples and licensed samples, as well as experimenting with AI - producing original tracks by creating up to 8 AI versions of the same track and mixing and layering them with live recordings and samples. New production techniques such as AI should be used as an instrument - resulting in more work for musicians, not less: auditions, not redundancies. All lyrics are original and are written by founding member Angela Meredith - and are frequently the starting point for a track. TEMPURA is primarily a recording project due to logistics. TEMPURA'S recent rock single Impress Me Less charted on Groover - and our most listened to track is the classical piece Spiritus Vivit. TEMPURA'S first album Artificial Lack of Intelligence was released in September 2026 and features 12 tracks all showing different sides to TEMPURA' S music. We hope you find something among them to enjoy and take with you on your own musical journey - and come back for more!
