Arvid Neros debutalbum Mother Earth (2018) markerade hans genombrott som soloartist. Albumet ”etablerade honom som en röst inom svensk blues, country och soul”, och hans bakgrund som gatumusiker ”bidrog till ett rått och direkt uttryck.” Neros musikaliska stil präglas av influenser från både amerikanska och svenska traditioner.
