Florencia Minniti

American-Argentine who grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Florencia Minniti has been writing music and filmmaking since the 6th grade of middle school. She began recording music professionally in 2019. Growing up with a multicultural background and diverse experiences, she has always found it impossible to fit into a single category. While others urged her to choose one path, she embraced many. Combining her talents in music and filmmaking, she storyboards, plans, and edits content for her music career, including music videos. She has also begun writing songs for feature films, and has written/directed several internationally recognized film projects. In 2022, she won an award for "Best Female Director Short Film" in the Cannes World Film Festival for her film "The Promotion," along with several other awards in other prestigious film festivals around the world. When asked to describe her musical goals, Flo shares, "If I can help just help one person feel they are not alone and resonate with my lyrics and music, to provide a safe place to find and feel strength— that's my dream. To make sure they know the value in embracing lessons from the past and move towards a wiser and brighter future." She also wishes to be an inspiration for others to follow their dreams and not be afraid to embrace who they are and what makes them happiest. No one can decide what is better for you than yourself. She strives to be a proud representation of multicultural Latin-American roots.
