Born in the Netherlands with Indian Tamil roots, Maharani is a multilingual singer-songwriter blending RnB, Trap-Soul, and Indian sonics. Her mission to create a new sound earned a major co-sign from legendary producer Timbaland who exclaimed, "She changed the whole narrative of their sound," describing her Tamil fusion track Skyline as "ground-breaking for her culture." She set a trend with her viral 'Tamixes' series, reimagining and rewriting popular songs in Tamil.
