Biography & Metadata
Francesca Monte is an Italian Alt Pop artist, singer, songwriter, topliner and composer, blending electronic, alternative pop, soul and club sounds. She began writing music and playing piano at 14 and, at 17, collaborated in Dallas with legendary musician Buddy Miles, drummer of Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys. After performing internationally across Europe, the US and UAE, Francesca appeared on The Voice of Italy and reached the final of X Factor Italy 8 with Komminuet. She later launched her solo career with Sony Music Italy, releasing Domenica, followed by collaborations with artists and producers including Federico Scavo, Alex Kenji and Vincent Arena. Her multidisciplinary vision led to collaborations with Puma and AW LAB and to Alièn, a concept project combining music, fashion and visual art. The EP reached #1 on the iTunes Electronic Chart, while its accompanying short film premiered at the Giffoni Experience. In 2025, Francesca released the two-track EP Body and Soul / Take Me Higher with Vikthor on 23rd Century DGTL, the label founded by legendary DJ and producer Carl Cox. Francesca is also the founder of NYSIĀDES, an all-female collective exploring the intersection of electronic music, vocals, live instrumentation and visual art. With 14M+ total streams, Francesca continues to evolve between songwriting, electronic music, live performance and multidisciplinary artistic expression, creating music that connects emotion, experimentation and the dancefloor.
