Sascha Rumpel alias Colour Your Mind may be influenced by Indie, his guitar playing and singing can get vehement - but something always blows over from the distant continent of the soul, which cannot be entered with firm steps. This is why the singer-songwriter achieves a paradox: his songs drive forward, bite into urgent rhythms but the soul remains at a distance that is necessary to make it visible: as a colour on the horizon. This colouring is evident when he changes from the rough and rasping singing, which can escalate to a scream, to the head voice, when the singing becomes a long purring. Here digs music, that is not only pop music, into a hodgepodge of unknowns, down in mysterious depths. The music of the multi-instrumentalist constantly slips away from the slogan of given musical template. With this Sascha creates his own template and leaves a trace of untouched freshness with recognition value. It is certain that the live- and streetmusician has a wealth of experience through a variety of performances and trips and this reflects his songs.
