El grupo es originario de la ciudad de Laferrere, La Matanza, Pcia de Buenos Aires Siendo hasta la actualidad la banda de Cumbia Villera que más países visito en el mundo. EE.UU, Canada, Australia, Italia, España, México, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Brasil, Perú y Colombia siguen disfrutando la presencia de esta banda referente de la Cumbia Villera Argentina. En la actualidad SUPERMERK2 está liderado por CHANCHIN siguiendo en legado de la banda.
