Alex Niggemann

Alex Niggemann, born in November 1984 in Düsseldorf, Germany, is a DJ, producer and label owner known for his distinctive, emotionally driven approach to electronic music. Classically trained on piano, his musical background expanded early through hip-hop and rap before he discovered electronic music in his teens. At 16, he began DJing with vinyl, quickly developing a strong instinct for atmosphere, timing and crowd connection. His international breakthrough came in the mid-2000s, including a widely acclaimed remix of Booka Shade’s Darko. By 2009, he ranked #8 in Resident Advisor’s Top 20 Charted Artists, reflecting his growing influence within the global club scene. In 2013, Niggemann founded the label and event series AEON, which became a platform for forward-thinking club music and emerging artists.
