Biography & Metadata
Parker has never been interested in the spotlight - which is probably why it keeps finding him anyway. Born and raised across North West London, he came up making beats in his living room after the older heads around him refused to make them for him. He found grime through Wiley, then pop, then the American market - not by chasing any of it but by staying focused and letting the right people notice. His producer credits tell one story: Chip, Ariana Grande, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, G-Eazy. Touring with Quincy Jones tells another. But Parker's truest thread has always been his roots - Nigerian heritage, London street culture, the church halls where he first learned what music could do to a room. His upcoming debut project moves between Afrobeats, hip-hop, trap and praise and worship without ever losing its footing. "It can be trap, it can be hip-hop, but it could also be a classical piece," he says. "It brings us all together."
