Biography & Metadata

Graham Hunt has a knack for carving out his own lane in the long, tangled history of American pop music. The Wisconsin-based songwriter has spent the past four years crafting records that blend timeless guitar pop with layered production and a sly lyrical sensibility. His music walks a line between the surreal and the everyday, the melodic and the rhythmic, the cryptic and the triumphant—proving slacker charm and Heartland earnestness can coexist. Timeless World Forever—Hunt’s first release for Run For Cover—brings closure to a strong run of songs while opening the door to a new chapter in his prolific career. He’s long been a fixture in the Midwest indie rock scene, from fronting Midnight Reruns to playing with Mike Krol and Disq. After his 2019 solo debut, Leaving Silver City, he hit his stride with 2022’s If You Knew Would You Believe It?, followed by 2023’s Try Not To Laugh. The new record continues that streak—all three made in the same Madison basement, pulsing with beat-driven density and a sonic palette as informed by rap and rave as it is by power pop. Looking backward and forward at once can be tricky, but through sheer commitment, Hunt’s music makes a strong case for experimentation within tradition—familiar yet mysterious. Timeless World Forever is the culmination of five years of growth: the sound of a lifer shifting gears and hitting the open road.
