Mumbai-born, 21-year-old vinayvvs is a shapeshifting, boundary-pushing, cultural force in Indian music. Aged 5, he moved to Poland with his parents due to financial difficulties. At 14, he discovered hip-hop and found inspiration in Travis Scott and Kanye West, motivating him to start producing. After discovering Hindi rap through DIVINE, vinayvvs picked up the mic at 15 and returned to Mumbai. In 2022, aged 17, vinayvvs moved to London through a scholarship to pursue a degree which he completed in 2025 and returned to Mumbai to "go HAM on this sh*t". vinayvvs is a graduate from the Travis Scott and Kanye West school of maximalism, where songs create gigantic, lush, cinematic atmospheres. He pairs this eclectic sonic landscape with psychedelic production, introspective lyricism, and ambient, heavily layered vocals.
