Biography & Metadata

Fully Focus is a Kenyan-born, Atlanta-based DJ, producer, and cultural curator evolving from his Afrobeats foundation into a new frontier of AfroHouse & AfroTech. Long celebrated for pushing African music to global stages, breaking artists like Davido, Wizkid, P-Square, Fuse & D’Banj on U.S. radio, he now fuses those roots with electronic soundscapes to create a bold, boundary-pushing style that’s reshaping dance floors worldwide. From becoming the first Afrobeats DJ to hold a Las Vegas Strip residency to sharing stages with Diplo, Steve Aoki, Major Lazer, Usher, and Akon, Focus has consistently proven he belongs on the world’s biggest lineups. His AfroHouse/Tech EP ‘Kikuyu House’ with Sofiya Nzau (of “Mwaki” fame) earned critical acclaim, while his debut album ‘African Ambassador’ surpassed 20 million streams and became home to Kenya’s longest-charting Apple Music hit of 2022. Now, with a new wave of official AfroHouse remixes of African classics and a global rooftop tour, Focus is not just evolving, he’s defining the future of how Africa and electronic music come alive together.
