Not One of Us

Not One of Us emerged mysteriously in 2017 with the EP Discarded Evidence. Their enigmatic debut was succeeded by the Night Window EP in 2020. Most of their metal tracks appear as evolved renditions of the million-streamed, gold-selling, retired Swedish force, Sonic Syndicate. Guided by a covert order and led by The Baroness and The Baron, they resurfaced after three years with the EP Black in 2023. The ignition of the Black Cycle, which soon grew into something far stranger and more expansive, echoing the Baron’s past entanglements with Sweden’s underground metal. Now, during the end of 2025, they continue this four-part descent with its second chapter, Mirror, a furious yet introspective work that turns the gaze inward, revealing the shadows within and expanding their adventurous Swedish melodic metal sound.
