Biography & Metadata

“Rock, in the right hands, has lots to say, and The Fierce and the Dead have much to add to the genre.” — PopMatters “Regional Theatre is an absolute masterclass of warped and passionate heavy music.” — Outlaws of the Sun “This is a crowning achievement from a band I always keep an eye on.” — Echoes & Dust The Fierce and the Dead released Regional Theatre in September 2026, their fifth studio album and second to feature bassist Kevin Feazey on lead vocals, blending alternative rock, noise-rock, shoegaze and experimental heaviness. Its release was followed by a UK headline tour, with several shows selling out. Formed in London over 16 years ago as an instrumental band, the group have gradually evolved into one of the UK underground's most distinctive alternative rock acts, blending noise-rock, post-rock, shoegaze, analogue electronics and big riffs. Over the last 16 years, the band have built a loyal international following through word of mouth, critically acclaimed records and intense live performances. Their previous release, News From The Invisible World, was named one of 2023's best albums by Prog Magazine and Classic Rock Magazine, while the band's live reputation has seen headline UK tours sell out months in advance. They have appeared at festivals across the UK, Europe and the US, including ArcTanGent, Portals and Freak Valley, and have toured alongside Hawkwind amongst others.
