Biography & Metadata
Playing Honkytonk and Blues, Lulu has a powerhouse voice that’s beautifully gritty and commanding. And to accompany her guitar and mandolin picking, her husband Allen Wayne Nichols keeps time with stomping , boom-chicka foot drums and overlays the strong rhythms with wildly infectious guitar solos. They are an incredibly strong duo, and sometimes accompanied by Doghouse Dave Stopani on Doghouse bass. Playing a style of old school blues, honkytonk and alt-Country, Lulu and The Black Sheep appeal to crowds of all diversities. Always on tour coast to coast!
